The purpose of the PPA is:
- To improve efficiency in the procurement process
- Reduce solicitation and procurement costs
- Provide a mechanism for increased standardization of industry tools, equipment and technology
- Allow other public agencies to benefit from Master Price Agreements secured by PPA
